SinopsisDuring World War II, a small group of brave and stubborn men managed to stop the advance of Marshal Rommel in North Africa. In 1941, Rommel had got the English to start the withdrawal. The only obstacle between him and the Suez channel was Tobruk's strength, defended by a small Australian detachment. Captain Mcroberts (Richard Burton), brilliant strategist, is in charge of the operation.
