SinopsisHistory of the legendary black baseball player Jackie Robinson (Chadwick Boseman), who broke the racial barriers when hired by President (Harrison Ford) of the Brooklyn Dodgers. Robinson's participation in the Great Baseball League ended racial segregation in this sport. He had to endure all kinds of humiliations, but his talent and attitude made him a hero. With the Dodgers he got 6 championships in 10 years, in addition to a world series. He was appointed rookie from 1947, MVP (Most Value Player / most valuable player) in 1949, participated in the All Star on 6 times and became the second most popular man in the country after Bing Crosby. The exploits of this player caused all the teams of the Major League to withdraw the number 42 of its uniforms in recognition of their talent, dedication and struggle for human rights.
