    Sinopsis

A man looks through a window somewhere in Paris and reviews his life: the early discovery of sexuality with Virginia, life in the barracks where his father was a general, the encounter with a beggar whom he and Virginia kill. (Was he Colonel Lugones or not?) A novel constructed through the eyes of a man who elaborates forced theories about time, who accepts sex as the last of the possible moments of happiness and who makes a living by falsifying documents for illegals who wish to enter Europe. A man used to deceiving since he murdered when he was almost a child. «Am I a torturer or a political exile? A psychopath or a far-right militant who persecutes social scourges? A romantic or a nihilist? Am I good or bad? Am I the devil? » Novel populated by characters marked by the culture of death, revenge and sex. Men and women who act as if they should pay a debt generated before their own births. Inhabitants of a world whose balance depends on insignificance: in this case a small object buried years ago, next to the body of the murdered beggar.
