    Sinopsis

    In January 1992, Albert Glock, a prestigious American archaeologist, fell victim to three bullets on the outskirts of Bir Seit, “the university city par excellence of the occupied territories” of the West Bank, where he had lived for seventeen years as head of the Palestinian Institute of Archaeology. Glock had first visited Palestine in 1962 to participate in the Ti'innik excavations and soon realized that all vestiges of the Arab contribution to the cultural history of Palestine had been discarded. From the Six-Day War to the Intifada and the Gulf War, Glock lived at the center of all the Arab-Israeli conflicts until his never-explained assassination in 1992.
