In Barcelona in the 1940s, an eight-year-old girl contemplates the life that goes on beyond the wall of her house located on the slopes of Tibidabo, in what at that time was land between orchards, vacant lots and small suburban houses. The girl, from her protective world, takes her first steps in amazement to the world that surrounds her among animals of all kinds: the horses and mules that drag the garbage and alfalfa carts, the chickens, the rabbits. Pigeons that are raised in improvised sheds and chicken coops.
