in 1974, Yorkshire was an area devastated by fear, distrust and corruption. The journalist Eddie Dunford is willing to unravel the maze of lies and deceptions surrounding police investigation of a series of kidnapping of children. When Little Clara Kemplay disappears, Eddie and her colleague Barry convince its director to let them investigate the relationship of these cases with two similar abductions that occurred ten years earlier. But, when a mutilated body appears in a work of a local tycoon, Eddie and Barry are involved in a world of threats, frightful revelations and police brutality. in the 80s, 'The ralter' sows panic in Yorkshire. The Government resorts to Peter Hunter, the most important detective of Manchester, to take over a secret review of the case. In 1974, Hunter had not been able to complete the investigation of a shooting, in which Yorkshire police were involved. But, on this occasion, he is determined to reach the end. nine years later, another Morley boy has disappeared on the way from his home to school. Superintendent Maurice Jobson relates this new case to the disappearance of Clara Kemplay, which was found dead in 1974, and with the imprisonment of young Michael Myshkin. The lawyer John Piggott, convinced of Myshkin's innocence, begins to fight in his defense, unconsciously providing a catalyst to Jobson to put things in order. Third and last part of the British miniseries "Red Riding", composed of three feature films released in 2009 and based on the four black novels of David Peace: Riding Red: 1974, Riding Riding: 1980 and Red Riding: 1983, directed by Julian Jarrd , James Marsh and Anand Tucker respectively.
