Nasarah means in Nazarene Arabic. The first letter of Esapalabra is the N, the ن. It is the lyrics used by the Daesh, the self-denominated Islamic Army, to mark the houses of the Christians of Mosul in Iraq. In the film the history of these Christians is collected through the dramatic testimonies of some of those who had to flee from their homes overnight. They were forced to choose between life and their faith and preferred to lose everything rather than give up their beliefs. For ten years, a million and a half of Christians have been forced to leave Syria and Iraq. This film, shot in Lebanon, in Beirut, on the Syrian border, in the Bekaá Valley and in the refugee fields is the story of ethnic cleaning that jihadism has made in Syria and in Iraq. This is a document that helps to understand with testimonies, with analysis, what is the Daesh, the jihadist group that hits the nearby, North Africa and Europe. But it is also the portrait of a strange human group that does not live with despair its suffering, which feels accompanied in pain.
