SinopsisConsidered the best film of John Ford's silent era, a western around the railroad and the pioneering spirit of the United States of America. President Lincoln has authorized the construction of a link between the railway lines of the Union Pacific and the Pacific Central. A contractor (Will Walling) and a surveyor (George O'Brien) undertake a trip with the aim of drawing the ideal route, but, although they manage to locate a mountainous step that would allow the establishment of a much faster connection than it had expected , the risk that natives attack workers threatens to disrupt the ambitious project.
