SinopsisParis, August 1944. The Swedish consul Raoul Nordling (Dussollier) bursts into the Meurice hotel to talk to Dietrich von Choltitz (Arestrup), German military governor in Paris during the last days of German domain in the French capital. The consul mission is to convince the general so that he does not execute the order to activate the explosives that would fly the main monuments of the French capital: the Louvre, Nôtre-Dame and the Eiffel Tower, among other monuments.
